Aiming beyond the Classroom (Picture of learning)
LEAH cultivates life-long learning. Students live out their calling with care for community, family and church. LEAH stimulates academic excellence through rigorous standards and expectations that challenge students and faculty to push toward and achieve exceptional results and that prepares students for their next level of education.
All students participate in extra curricular activities. Graduating students believe and confess the Gospel of Jesus Christ and model the life of Christ as they serve Him through service to others.
LEAH graduates are recognized as leaders in their chosen vocation and profession. By putting into practice what they have learned and experienced, students apply those lessons to their lives as Christian leaders in community, family and church.
§
Holding Up the Truth (Truth of Gospel)
LEAH’s schools celebrate their Gospel-centered ministry built on Jesus Christ, who is both the foundation and motivation for our daily efforts and future plans.
Christ’s call into their vocation enables all faculty and staff to be servants who create a learning environment which is distinctively Christian and self-consciously Lutheran. In the embrace of the grace of God, students, faculty and staff serve God’s kingdom and His world.
Students, faculty, staff and others understand themselves to be redeemed by Christ and gifted by God. When their last hour comes they will repose in the arms of Jesus, who redeemed them.
